  • Nuclear Radiation Effects On Human Body
Explosion nuclear reactor power plants in Japan Fukoshima was horrible. Images of nuclear radiation still haunts millions of people who are around Japan, including Indonesia.

But do you know the effects of radiation on the human body? Here are a few:

    Brain
Nerve cells or neurons and blood vessels of the brain at risk of death and cause seizures.

    Eye
Exposure to radiation can increase the risk of cataracts.

    Thyroid
When the nuclear reactor was down, radioactive iodine (I-131) released into the atmosphere. Tues human thyroid is very sensitive to the compound of iodine (I-131) so that can cause thyroid cancer or overactive thyroid gland.

    Lung
When you breathe in nuclear particle then you risk suffering from lung cancer.

    Heart
High doses of radiation can damage cells of cardiac blood vessels and lower heart function.

    Digestion
Sensitive cells in the gastrointestinal tract can be damaged, causing nausea, vomiting blood and dysentery.

    Reproductive Organs
Cleavage egg and sperm cells can be susceptible to interference and death causing sterility.

    Skin
Cell division of skin cells become disturbed so that the skin looks like burnt.

    Lymph System
Radiation causes impaired lymph cell division so that cells are damaged so that the immune system tergangggu.

Hopefully we do not experience it.
