Baby Body Temperature Measuring Tips

Measure the baby's body temperature is a fever is a challenge for parents. Moreover, if the baby can not calm or fussy.

Here are some tips on how to measure the baby's body temperature properly.

• If you have a rectal thermometer / thermometer that is used in the anus, put a mark that is not used anymore for the mouth / oral.
• Remember always to wash or clean the thermometer using alcohol or warm water, especially at the end of the metal. Wash before use and thereafter.
• If you want to measure the temperature by mouth, ensure that measurements were taken 20 minutes after the baby is drinking something warm / cold.
• Do not measure the baby's body temperature immediately after a bath.
• Do not let your child play around with the thermometer.
