    Heart palpitations or tachycardia in medical language is called by a state if the heart rate exceeds 100 beats per minute. Many things can cause palpitations, such as blood circulation problems, high blood pressure or cholesterol, potassium deficiency and arrhythmias.

    Symptoms of palpitations include discomfort in the chest, difficulty breathing, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, and the head feels light. In serious conditions need immediate medical treatment, but prior to the doctor or the mild symptoms you can do the following:

    Avoid Stimulants

    Stimulants can stimulate the heart rate by speeding up metabolism and releases adrenaline. So definitely avoid caffeinated coffee or tea, soft drinks, energy drinks, and medicines that contain caffeine.

    Potassium Consumption

    Low potassium levels in the blood will cause tachycardia, so if you're not consuming potassium in the diet, try taking multivitamins or supplements containing potassium. Foods containing large amounts of potassium in bananas, potatoes, rice and vegetables.

    Meditation

    Meditation is the ability to control the mind and body function by concentrating on one or the other in order to reach a calm matters. By learning how to relax then you also learn to lower heart rate.

    Eat Fibre
